Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath’s misattribution of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s famous “give me blood, I will give you freedom” slogan to Swami Vivekananda has sparked widespread criticism. Trinamool and Samajwadi Party leaders condemned the remark, highlighting the BJP’s alleged ignorance of Bengal’s history and the freedom struggle. The slogan was originally delivered by Netaji to INA soldiers in Burma.
