French President Emmanuel Macron labeled Elon Musk “over-subsidised,” citing Starlink as an example of public investment in European industry. Musk retorted, claiming European competitors receive more government funding than Tesla and SpaceX. Macron had previously accused Musk of political intervention in European elections.
