The US is preparing to expand defense sales to India, signaling continued momentum in their strategic cooperation. Foreign Affairs Subcommittee Assistant Secretary S. Paul Kapur stated that new weapon system purchases are in the pipeline, aiming to bolster India’s sovereignty and create American jobs. This comes as the two nations have also inked a trade deal, further strengthening their bilateral relationship.
