Tommaso Giacomel collapsed while leading the men’s 15km mass start at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Anterselva. The Italian star struggled with breathing and stopped the race. Coach Fabio Cianciana later confirmed he is fine and receiving treatment. Norway’s Johannes Dale-Skjevdal won gold. Giacomel still leaves the Games with a mixed relay silver medal.
