A police inspector died and 13 were injured when an electrical swing collapsed at the Surajkund International Crafts Fair. The ride, carrying 26 people, came unhinged mid-operation. A stall owner rescued several riders before the swing fully collapsed, trapping the inspector. Investigations into mechanical or electrical failure are underway.
