In 2007, Roger Federer coined the term “Happy Slam” to describe the Australian Open – the first Grand Slam on the tennis calendar. 19 years later, he was back in Melbourne and explained the ‘why’ behind it. As three weeks of record attendance concluded, not everyone was quite ‘happy’ with how things turned out.
