A young woman has been awarded Rs 9.1 lakh in compensation after a delayed train prevented her from attending a crucial entrance exam in 2018. The district consumer commission found the railways accountable for the two-and-a-half-hour delay, which caused her to miss her BSc biotechnology exam at Lucknow University.
