Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar’s body was identified after a Learjet 45 aircraft crashed near Baramati. Police used his wristwatch and familiar seating position to confirm his identity. The aircraft departed Mumbai and was on final approach to Baramati when the incident occurred. Pilots reported runway visibility issues before the crash.
