A Mithilanchal storyteller, Shravan Das, has been arrested in Darbhanga for allegedly exploiting a minor girl and forcing her to undergo an abortion. Police are also investigating his associate, Mauni Baba, who is absconding. Meanwhile, opposition leader Tejashwi Yadav criticized the state government, alleging complicity in crimes against women and minors.
