Calcutta High Court witnessed significant disruption Friday as a hearing concerning the Enforcement Directorate’s actions against Mamata Banerjee’s party consultancy was postponed. Justice Suvra Ghosh adjourned proceedings until January 14 due to “enormous disturbance and commotion” from lawyers and apprentices. The judge cited a lack of decorum, stating the courtroom environment was unsuitable for a hearing.
