Cold wave tightens grip on Himachal Pradesh, fresh snowfall reported in higher areas

Himachal Pradesh witnessed a fresh snowfall in higher reaches, while severe cold wave conditions with dense fog and ground frost were reported across the region. Minimum temperatures, reportedly, plummeted, with Tabo recording the coldest at minus 10.2 degrees Celsius. A travel advisory has also been issued for Lahaul-Spiti due to sustained winter severity.
