Sanjeev Khirwar, a 1994-batch IAS officer, has been appointed the new municipal commissioner of Delhi, over three years after a controversy led to his transfer out of the capital. He was previously moved following allegations of forcing athletes to end training early at Thyagraj Stadium for his dog walks.
