A driver for the Uttar Pradesh power department was killed when a truck carrying wooden scrap overturned on the Nainital Highway in Rampur. The truck rammed a divider while trying to avoid the Bolero, crushing it completely. The driver, Firasat, was pulled from the wreckage but declared dead at the hospital.
