A Kashmiri shawl seller was allegedly assaulted in Kashipur by a group demanding he chant ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’. The 28-year-old refused, stating he would say ‘Hindustan Zindabad’. The incident, captured on video, has caused fear among Kashmiri traders. Police are urging the victim to file a formal complaint for further action.
