Violence erupted at Ludhiana Central Jail on Tuesday. Inmates attacked jail officials, including Superintendent Kulwant Singh Sidhu, who was injured. Other personnel also sustained injuries. The disturbance began with a fight between prisoners. Police were called to restore order. This incident follows a similar violent event in 2019.
