The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued an advisory to all affiliated schools warning against participation in sports events organised by CBSE Board School Games Welfare Society (CBSE-WSO), Agra. The Registrar of Firms, Societies and Chits, Agra, cancelled the society’s registration due to unauthorised use of the CBSE name. Schools are instructed to avoid engagement, sponsorship, or communication with the society. CBSE Secretary Himanshu Gupta urged schools to verify all events through official channels.
