In a significant development, Jharkhand’s chief minister Hemant Soren has been granted bail by a special MP/MLA court amid allegations of ignoring summons from the Enforcement Directorate. Following directions from the Jharkhand High Court, Soren has appeared in court and submitted the necessary bail bonds, ensuring he won’t have to attend further hearings unless specifically called upon.
