Banks may face liability for cyber fraud losses if “due diligence” is found lacking, Haryana DGP OP Singh stated. Investigations will determine bank accountability for customer compensation. The DGP also highlighted measures for faster release of frozen funds and an expanded awareness campaign involving students as cyber ambassadors.
