Shiv Sena (UBT) MLA Aaditya Thackeray has criticised the ICC for scheduling the 2026 T20 World Cup final in Ahmedabad, accusing the body of “sudden politics of favouritism.” He argued that Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium is a more fitting venue, questioning the repeated selection of Ahmedabad for major finals over other historic grounds.
