A 16-year-old national-level basketball player, Hitesh Rathi, tragically died in Rohtak when an unstable iron basketball pole collapsed on him during practice. He was attempting to hang from the hoop when the structure buckled. The Haryana Olympic Association has suspended all state sports events for three days in his honor, and an investigation is underway.
