Jamal Khashoggi’s widow, Hanan Elatr Khashoggi, has demanded a personal apology and compensation from Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who recently called the journalist’s killing a “huge mistake.” She expressed pain over the Crown Prince’s reception in Washington, urging the US to prioritize human rights over deals with Riyadh. Khashoggi was murdered in 2018 at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul.
