The US-led Gaza peace proposal has gained the approval of the UN Security Council, which will now deploy an International Stabilisation Force to manage demilitarization efforts and deliver humanitarian aid. Despite the backing, both Russia and China chose to abstain, while Hamas dismissed the resolution, calling it a violation of their autonomy and an affront to groups resisting outside influence.
