The Bharatiya Janata Party has criticiSed the Indian National Congress. This follows the Congress party distancing itself from Shashi Tharoor’s birthday wishes for veteran BJP leader LK Advani. The BJP questioned the Congress’s intolerance. Tharoor had called Advani a statesman. Critics accused Tharoor of ignoring Advani’s role in divisive politics.
