A Delhi court has overturned a previous order that mandated the police to investigate former minister Kapil Mishra’s alleged role in the 2020 riots. Both Mishra and the Delhi Police had contested the magistrate’s directive for further inquiry. The Sessions Court has now instructed the magistrate to continue proceedings as per legal procedures.
