2 officials axed as VVPAT slips found on road in Samastipur

Two officials were suspended in Samastipur after VVPAT slips from mock polls were found scattered on a road. The Election Commission confirmed the slips were from earlier tests and launched an inquiry into the procedural lapse. The RJD, however, alleged vote tampering and questioned the EC’s impartiality, demanding a thorough investigation into the incident.
