Udaipur, Indore crowned India’s first Ramsar wetland cities

Rajasthan’s Udaipur and Madhya Pradesh’s Indore have become India’s first ‘Wetland Cities’ accredited under the Ramsar Convention. This international recognition reflects India’s commitment to sustainable urban development, emphasizing the integration of ecological preservation with urban growth. Globally, only 31 cities hold this prestigious title.
