Arvind Kejriwal has initiated a nationwide signature campaign demanding capital punishment for those accused of theft. He launched the drive in Delhi, signing an open letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Kejriwal urged citizens to organize Hanuman Chalisa recitations and gather signatures for the letter. Delhi BJP functionary Praveen Kapoor stated the campaign aims to defame the Ram Mandir.
