Dehradun police arrested software engineer Sri Charan Somayajula in connection with his wife’s death. Gayatri Radha was found dead under suspicious circumstances in a homestay near Mussoorie. A magisterial inquiry was ordered after the post-mortem failed to establish the cause. Her parents alleged murder and demanded a thorough investigation into the incident. Charan was remanded to 14 days judicial custody following his arrest.
