A meeting between Jayant Patil and Vinod Tawde sparked speculation about NCP (SP) joining the NDA. Patil described the encounter as nonpolitical, occurring during a parliamentary committee visit. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis denied any attempts to engineer a split within Sharad Pawar’s party. NCP (SP) MP Amol Kolhe’s earlier statement also fueled these rumors and discussions.
