Baruipur horror: Accused in 12-year-old’s brutal rape and murder shot dead in police encounter

Prabhas Mondal, the main accused in the Baruipur rape and murder case, has been killed. He was killed in a police encounter while officers reconstructed the crime scene. Mondal allegedly attempted to snatch a firearm from an officer during the reconstruction. He then opened fire at the police team, which led to retaliation. The police fired back, and Mondal was declared dead at the hospital.
