Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray demanded the disqualification of six rebel MPs, calling their defection a “larger political conspiracy” and part of “Operation Devendra.” He urged Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla to uphold the rule of law, alleging the BJP is undermining its own leaders. Thackeray, on a tour of rebel MPs’ constituencies, asserted that people voted against the “Modi wave,” not for the defectors.
