Tragedy struck near Trinity Circle as a labourer, Gurappa, was electrocuted while working on Namma Metro pillar lighting. He accidentally struck an underground live wire during excavation. Meanwhile, a woman’s chain caused a brief disruption on the Purple Line, delaying services. BMRCL also announced early Metro operations on June 27 to support a BDA plantation drive and walkathon.
