Afghanistan captain Hashmatullah Shahidi received an official reprimand and a demerit point from the ICC for damaging the pitch during the third ODI against India. Despite this, Shahidi scored a maiden century, but India secured a dominant nine-wicket victory, completing a 3-0 series sweep. Shahidi acknowledged his team’s shortcomings against a strong Indian side.
