Haiti captain Johnny Placide criticized VAR after two second-half handball appeals involving Scotland defender Grant Hanley were not reviewed during Scotland’s 1-0 Group C win in Boston. Jean-Ricner Bellegarde also questioned the decisions. Placide said Haiti respected Scotland’s victory but wanted transparency and clear explanations from match officials regarding the two controversial incidents.
