The US conducted fresh strikes targeting Iran’s IRGC command-and-control infrastructure, escalating tensions. These “self-defense strikes” hit military surveillance, communication, and air defense sites across Iran, including near Tehran and in Hormozgan province. The attacks follow previous US strikes after Iran allegedly downed a US helicopter.
