An explosion at a building reportedly storing mining explosives in northeastern Myanmar killed over 45 people and injured around 70. The blast occurred Sunday in Kaungtup village, near the Chinese border, an area controlled by the TNLA. Rescue efforts are ongoing, with 46 bodies recovered and 74 injured taken to the hospital.
