DK Shivakumar has been unanimously elected as the Congress Legislature Party leader in Karnataka and has formally staked his claim to form the government. He will be sworn in as Chief Minister on June 3rd. The decision followed a CLP meeting where Siddaramaiah’s name was proposed and seconded. Shivakumar expressed his commitment to serving the state with dedication.
