The CBI has taken Giribala Singh, mother-in-law of deceased Twisha Sharma, into custody after the Madhya Pradesh High Court quashed her anticipatory bail. The court cited insufficient appreciation of evidence, including witness statements and WhatsApp chats, and noted her alleged lack of cooperation with the investigation into dowry harassment and cruelty allegations.
