Congress has cautioned Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay against incorporating rebel AIADMK members into his government. Karti Chidambaram stressed that the public mandate was for a government independent of both AIADMK and DMK. Inducting the splinter group, he warned, would significantly damage Vijay’s goodwill and credibility, urging him to remain true to the electoral mandate.
