The Supreme Court has given Kannada actor Darshan a year to approach for bail if his trial in the Renukaswamy murder case shows no substantial progress. The court directed the Karnataka government to ensure 60 witnesses are examined within this period, urging the trial court to avoid adjournments on flimsy grounds.
