A four-year-old boy was safely rescued from a newly dug borewell in Hoshiarpur, Punjab, after a challenging nine-hour operation. Multiple rescue agencies and local volunteers collaborated to pull the child out from a depth of 20 to 30 feet. The boy, who appeared stable after the rescue, was immediately taken to a hospital for examination.
