A 23-year-old nanny from Manipur has accused her employer’s wife of illegal confinement, assault, and starvation at their IIM-Bangalore campus residence. The woman claims the abuse began in 2021, culminating in her being locked inside the house and denied food. Neighbours provided assistance, leading to a police case under relevant sections of the BNS.
