‘Slits throat with cutter’: Woman killed for refusing to be ‘second wife’

A 26-year-old man allegedly murdered a young woman in Mandideep after she refused to become his second wife. The accused, Manoj Ahirwar, was arrested within 24 hours following a manhunt. The victim’s mother was also injured while attempting to intervene during the fatal attack.
