In a bizarre turn of events, two thieves, trapped by alert neighbours in Rourkela, dialled the police helpline for rescue. Fearing public assault after stealing jewellery from a house, the duo called 112 and their families. Police arrived, rescued them from the agitated crowd, and recovered the stolen ornaments. Both accused face criminal charges.
