Shah Rukh Khan’s explosive 2012 altercation at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium—one of the Indian Premier League’s most controversial off-field moments—has resurfaced, with former Assistant Commissioner of Police Iqbal Shaikh now calling it a case of “miscommunication” that spiralled out of control. Recounting the high-voltage night, Shaikh revealed he was on duty when the situation escalated shortly after the match ended, following a minor disagreement between security personnel and the actor’s group.
