Ladakh groups seek Amit Shah meeting during Leh visit

Ladakh’s political groups are seeking a meeting with Union home minister Amit Shah during his upcoming visit to press for Sixth Schedule status and statehood. They deem the Centre’s announced sub-committee meeting inadequate and hope Shah’s presence will facilitate a high-powered committee discussion to rebuild trust and address their demands.
