The Indian Air Force conducted takeoff and landing drills on the Purvanchal Expressway in Sultanpur using an Airbus C295 aircraft. This exercise assessed the expressway’s viability as an emergency landing field during wartime. Fighter jets also participated in a flypast, highlighting the IAF’s operational readiness.
