‘Clear way for marriage’: 5-year-old killed by mother’s partner in Telangana

A five-year-old boy was brutally killed by his mother’s live-in partner in Kamareddy. The accused allegedly smothered and beat the child after his mother left home. Police arrested both the partner and the mother, stating they planned to eliminate the boy due to his mental health issues to facilitate their marriage. The eight-year-old sister is the sole eyewitness.
