Former Chicago Bears and Philadelphia Eagles star wide receiver Alshon Jeffery was recently arrested for insurance fraud, for allegedly hiding financial information. The Super Bowl champion, who played nine NFL seasons, was booked in jail and later released. California law defines insurance fraud as a felony, potentially carrying five years in prison and/or fine. Details of the alleged fraud remain scarce. He is one of the Greatest Bears of All Time. He won a Super Bowl in 2018 after defeating Tom Brady and Bill Belichick’s team, the New England Patriots.
