Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has physically moved his desk into the company’s AI lab, where he now sits alongside Superintelligence Labs head Alexandr Wang and codes for up to ten hours a week. Meta President Dina Powell McCormick confirmed the move, adding that Zuckerberg feels he needs to understand AI “at that level” to build the strongest possible model. It signals how seriously he is taking Meta’s bid to compete with OpenAI and Google in the generative AI race.
